						<h5>BASC&trade;-3 BESS</h5>

						<p>The BASC-3 Behavioural and Emotional Screening System is designed for schools, mental health clinics, pediatric clinics, communities, and researchers to screen for a variety of behavioural and emotional disorders that can lead to adjustment problems.</p>

						<p>The BASC-3 BESS consists of three brief forms that range from 25 to 30 items and can be completed by teachers, parents, or students.</p>

							<li>Teacher form with two levels: Preschool (for ages 3 through 5) and Child/Adolescent (for Grades K through 12)</li>
							<li>Student self-report form with one level: Child/Adolescent (for Grades 3 through 12)</li>

						<p><strong>Components of SSIS SEL on Review360</strong></p>

						<ol>
							<li><strong>Progress Monitoring Scale</strong>: A criterion-referenced teacher-completed form that provides a quick evaluation of an entire class across the five SEL areas. The results are directly aligned with the Skill Units from the Class-wide Intervention Program that includes a criterion-referenced assessment of three academic areas, providing guidance that targets interventions to the specific needs of a classroom of students.</li>

							<li>A teacher-friendly (K-3) or self-report (Adolescent-Adult/Corrections) rating form.</li>
							<li>Digital administration and scoring, integrated with larger Pearson systems.</li>
							<li>Good to Excellent levels of sensitivity, specificity, and AUC based on Sally and Bennett Shaywitz Connecticut Longitudinal Study and Pearson validation studies.</li>
							<li>Provide support for families as they work on language-based skills critical for reading success.</li>

						<p><strong>Content &amp; Features</strong></p>

						<p>Currently, the Shaywitz DyslexiaScreen includes six individual forms across the age range. For Grades K-3 (Forms 0-3), a teacher completing Shaywitz DyslexiaScreen rates statements regarding a student&#39;s language and frequency of academic behaviors. For Adolescent-Adult and Corrections Forms, the individual self-rates. The Shaywitz DyslexiaScreen includes four forms:</p>
