Comprehensive Multi-Informant SEL Assessment for Intervention

Multi-tiered support programs to improve social emotional learning (SEL) of all students are increasing, but are challenging to implement effectively because assessments used for different purposes (screening, progress monitoring, or classification) and completed by different informants (students, parents, or teachers) often measure different skills and are poorly aligned with intervention target behaviors. This webinar focuses technical aspects and uses of the SSIS SEL family of assessments – screening assessments, comprehensive rating scales, and progress monitoring assessments – for evaluating social behavior involving self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision making skills in a school that wants to provide multiple tiers of support services to students.
