The M-FUN can be used to assess children with lower motor-function skills and those with mild,
moderate or severe motor impairment.

visual-motor. - Strong reliability and validity evidence in both normative and clinical groups, including
individuals with mild to severe motor delays. - Activities include: Amazing Mazes, Race Car Game, Clay Play, Make a Fish, Bouncing
Ball Game.

The M-FUN was intentionally developed to allow flexibility in the sourcing of certain manipulatives used during administration, and does not require a specific brand, formulation, or manufacturer for the modelling clay. The clay provided in the kit is a consumable material that will need replacing periodically as it may harden over time. Examiners should use their clinical judgement to source an alternative that they consider pliable enough to support the activities described in the assessment and allow the child to complete the task as intended.
