Product Details

The Communication Checklist—Adult (CC–A) allows you to screen adults for communication impairments. With 50 behavioural statements focusing on communicative weaknesses and 20 on strengths, it can be used with individuals with a developmental disorder such as Specific Language Impairment, an autism spectrum disorder, Downs Syndrome, Fragile X syndrome, learning difficulties, as well as with individuals with an acquired disorder, for example due to a head injury. The CC–A also helps you identify subtle communicative difficulties indicative of the broader autism phenotype in individuals who are related to people with heritable disorders such as an ASD.

The CC–A questionnaire is to be completed by a respondent who is in regular contact with the individual (3-4 days per week) and knows him/her well (partner, parent, friend, or caregiver).
