Virginia Wise Berninger

For clinicians and MTSS professionals, the PAL-II evaluates reading, writing, and math related processes to help diagnose dyslexia, dysgraphia, oral and written language learning disability (OWL-LD), and dyscalculia. Both individually-administered assessments link to targeted evidenced-based interventions. The Revised PAL User Guide and newly-updated intervention materials provide evidence-based strategies to create positive learning outcomes for students with reading, writing, and math difficulties. The PAL-II and Revised PAL products are the most current versions of the PAL product suite.

			<p>PAL-II Reading and Writing has normed measures for assessing reading and writing achievement and reading-related and writing-related processes. The Revised PAL-II Reading and Writing User Guide explains evidence-based procedures for:</p>

				<li>Tier II Problem Solving Consultation</li>
				<li>Tier III Differential Diagnosis and Differentiated Instruction</li>
			</ul>

			<p>These procedures use the PAL-II Reading and Writing assessment measures and other tests as well as the Revised PAL Instructional Materials.</p>

				<li>Reading and Writing Lessons&ndash;Revised includes an instructional manual and a second volume of reproducible materials. Fifteen lesson sets include five sets for Tier 1/early intervention, five sets for Tier 2/curriculum modification, and five sets for Tier 3/tutorials for dyslexia and dysgraphia.</li>
