Autism Assessment and Diagnosis Online Course (Annie’s Centre)

Audience

This on-demand training is designed for medical professionals, psychologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, social workers, and other allied health professionals involved in assessing, diagnosing, and supporting clients with ASD and their families.

Course Description

This module helps you build a process for functional assessment, including determining which areas of client functioning to assess, why, and how, as well as establishing a detailed support plan based on the assessment data.

Learning Objectives

Upon completing this module, participants will be able to:

• Define functional assessment and explain why it is part of an ASD diagnosis
• Outline what to assess and the process of planning support for your client

Client Confidentiality

All video recordings must be treated with the same level of confidentiality as patient case notes.
