This brief reliable screener is a stand-alone version of the Brief Cognitive Status Exam | Normative Update (BCSE™ NU) found in the Wechsler Memory Scale® Fifth Edition (WMS®-5).

The BCSE™ NU enables clinicians to quickly assess global cognitive functioning and covers the following domains:

The WMS-5 kits contain the necessary materials to administer and score the BCSE NU; a separate BCSE is not necessary for use with WMS-5.
