Carolyn Murray-Slutsky, MS, OTR

Carolyn received her masters in Occupational Therapy from Boston University in 1977 and her bachelors in Special Education from Ohio University. She has advanced clinical training in pediatrics, sensory integration, and neurodevelopmental treatment.

She has published several books, workbooks, teaching tools, journal articles, and educational articles on the topics of occupational therapy, sensory integration, behavioral strategies, neurodevelopmental treatment, splinting and upper extremity control, and intervention strategies for children with autism and pervasive developmental delays. She has presented at many national and international conferences, presenting preconference workshops and short courses to professionals.

Carolyn Murray-Slutsky is currently director and founder of Rehabilitation for Children, a pediatric private practice. She co-founded M P Rehabilitative Services in 1986, a pediatric private practice that specialized in outpatient, home, and school-based therapy in Florida. Her two sensory integration clinics used an integrated approach and were acquired by a national corporation in 2001.

Her awards include Manager of the Year award while serving as Director of Rehabilitation for an acute care facility and the Award of Excellence by the Florida Occupational Therapy Association for her long-standing and significant contributions to the occupational therapy profession.
