Presenter: Pat Moran, PhD
This presentation will discuss the influence that complex trauma has on emotional, behavioral, and personality functioning in adulthood. Knowledge of an individual’s trauma response symptoms, and their pervasive stress history, is often sufficient to generate a DSM-5Ⓡ diagnosis. However, how the individual processes these experiences towards a healthy resolution is often encumbered by emotional, information processing, and personality factors that have manifested as barriers towards recovery. In this webinar, we will examine the use of assessment tools to identify symptom presentation, risks to treatment engagement and fidelity, and monitoring distressing symptom reduction.
