The process of dyslexia identification is complex and dynamic, starting with screening and moving through progress monitoring. With the introduction of the term “dyslexia” into the educational legislation of many states, there is a renewed need for clarity on the subject. The presenter will discuss a model that accounts for what we know to be true about dyslexia features in combination with what we know about factors relating to dyslexia. Through a case study format, this presentation will outline a hybrid model for dyslexia evaluation, highlighting several Pearson assessments.
