The Kaufman Assessment Battery for Children, Second Edition Normative Update (KABC™-II NU: 2018) maintains the strengths of the KABC-II while providing updated normative information that reflects the changing population of children in the United States. Clinicians who use the KABC-II know that the subtests were designed to minimize verbal instructions and responses to allow for a fair assessment of all examinees, including examinees from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Clinicians especially value the dual-theoretical foundation of the instrument – the Cattell-Horn Carroll (CHC) psychometric model of broad and narrow abilities, and Luria’s neuropsychological theory of processing.

This webinar will review features of the KABC-II that support interpretation from two different but complementary perspectives, and that allow clinicians to identify cognitive strengths and weaknesses.
