The presenters will discuss interpreting CELF Preschool-3 results in the context of a comprehensive language assessment. Topics will include evaluating test scores as one part of the body of evidence for diagnostic decisions, interpreting score differences, and using assessment results to make recommendations for next steps for the child, family, and teacher.

Students in special education with chronic and severe emotional and behavioral difficulties represent some of the most difficult students to instruct, yet research suggests that they are often under-identified and underserved. This training focuses on the development and application of a school-based model of assessment of emotional and behavioral disorders. This session addresses eligibility with an emphasis on developing an understanding of the student while obtaining a comprehensive diagnosis.  

This webinar will provide more than a simple overview of the MACI-II. Dr. Tringone will review comparisons with its predecessor and other self-report measures while highlighting relevant normative data and trends. Additionally, two case examples will illustrate how identifying an adolescent’s personality type can enhance one’s understanding of behavior patterns and mood states while formulating treatment plans.

The good news is, if accurately diagnosed and treated, ADHD can be managed effectively at all ages.

This workshop focuses on accurate diagnosis of ADHD and its corollary symptoms with an emphasis on psychosocial and educational evidence-based interventions. The BASC-3 model of diagnosis and links to intervention is emphasized to enhance accuracy of diagnosis and interventions.
